Birds are very common as we can see them in our daily lives , but do we know what are birds ? Birds are aerial animals that have feathers, wings, and lay eggs and are warm blooded animals and are vertebrates . Some examples of birds are the cardinal , bald eagle the flamingo , ostriches, and the red-tailed hawk. there are some birds that migrate short or long distances in search of food . Many larger birds like crows, robins, swallows, hawks, jays, blue birds, pelicans, cranes, geese, etc. Migrate during daytime for food. These birds are called diurnal birds and generally migrate in flocks (flock is group of birds) But, some birds cannot fly so they can neither migrate long nor short distances.
